Jon holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a concentration in Financial Planning from Southern New Hampshire University, and the Accredited Financial Counselor® (AFC®) designation. He is a CFP® certificant, having completed both the education and examination requirements for the Certified Financial Planner designation — the most widely recognized credential in the financial planning profession. He serves as a Paraplanner and Associate Financial at Clear Insight Wealth Management, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Jon loves the full scope of comprehensive financial planning — cash flow, investments, taxes, insurance, estate planning — and how all the pieces fit together into something bigger than the sum of their parts. Whether your finances feel like a tangled mess or you are simply wondering if there is more you could be doing, Jon is the kind of advisor who will dig in and find out.
Jon and his wife Nicole have been married 18 years and have three kids. A proud Army retiree and lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he can usually be found at the grill, at the park with his family, or buried in a good book. His bookshelf leans heavily toward the behavioral side of money — think The Psychology of Money and Predictably Irrational — because he is convinced that understanding human behavior is just as important as understanding a balance sheet.
Jon Belajac, AFC®
Jon Belajac is a financial planner and Investment Adviser Representative at Clear Insight Wealth Management — and his path to financial planning started the way it does for many of his clients: not with a finance degree, but with a wake-up call. Despite a steady income, he found himself stuck in an endless cycle of debt with nothing to show for it. Determined to change course, he devoured personal finance books, sought out a mentor, and eventually broke free from tens of thousands of dollars in debt. That experience is what drives how he works today. Whether you are navigating a military transition, building wealth from the ground up, or simply wondering whether all your financial pieces are working together, Jon brings both the technical knowledge and the lived experience to meet you where you are.
After enlisting in the Army straight out of high school in 2005 as an Airborne Infantryman, Jon spent 20 years serving at duty stations across Alaska, Washington, and North Carolina, completing three deployments and later serving as an Army Recruiter in Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Hawaii. He retired in 2025 at the rank of Sergeant First Class. The discipline and mission focus the Army instilled in him translate directly into how he approaches financial planning — methodical, comprehensive, and always centered on the person across the table.
